MASAI SHIELD BROOCHES. These highly stylized brooches were inspired by Lino
Tagliapietra's large glass wall hangings named Masai. I love the pleasing shape
and bright colors. You can make yours in bright or subtle colors to suit your
personal style. Either way, you will want several! The brooches are created
using Right Angle Weave over an armature. You can embellish them as much or as
little as you wish. They look just as wonderful plain as they do fully adorned
with beads, sequins, crystals, etc. Skill
Level: Intermediate to Advanced Prerequisite:
Must know Right Angle Weave. Students must be able to do right angle weave WITHOUT
HELP.

Saturday, March 21, 2009 – THE TILES OF ANTONI GAUDI. In the true fashion
of the famous architect, Antoni Gaudi, each little beaded tile is created with
swirling pathways of colorful beads. Texture and shape flows randomly across
the palette using varying sizes of beads. Each tile is monochromatic and can be
configured in several ways giving you the option of using them to make a
wonderful necklace, bracelet or even earrings. Each tile is approximately
1" X 1" in size, so you can complete each one in a very short
time." Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced. Prerequisite: Students must know Right Angle Weave

Sunday, March 22, 2009 – IT'S HIP TO BE SQUARE. This is a fun and stunning bracelet. Combine beaded and
